Booked a Japanese-style twin room with a view of the inner garden. Had tea-making facilities in the room. - the location was fantastic, being very close to major attractions like a tower and a temple.

The location is very central, just a short walk to the railway station. A proliferation of restaurants offer excellent dining options. - Shimogyo Ward is a district worth exploring.

The breakfasts were always traditional and superb with egg, high rates and grilled fish...

It was fairly clean and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive, beds were comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely superb with tasty mackerel, grilled fish and high rates, the location was comfortable and unbeatable.

Chic hotel with wonderful location close enough to a bus stop, and the breakfast was traditional. Location: the venue was near a quiet area of the downtown and the Kyoto station and the beautiful Kyoto. The room was authentic & new-fashioned, there was an exceptionally comfortable bed.

There was little space to hang clothes or towels! The futon was personally too hard for me to lie down!
